Dale Deckard St. George Manager, Funeral Director
Dale was born and raised in east central Illinois. He had just graduated high school when he lost his best friend in a tragic manor and had the funeral director reach out to him to comfort him in a time of need. That small gesture planted seed with him for years until 2010 when he and his family moved to Utah. That small seed started to grow once he and his family arrived in Southern Utah. Dale immediately looked for a position in the funeral business and found his calling for providing service to those families who have lost a loved one.
He never thought that he could love a job as much as he does. Being able to provide the last little bit of service to an individual who has passed and service to their family is what drives his love for the funeral business. Dale graduated in 2014 from Arapahoe College in Colorado with a degree in mortuary science. Dale met and married his wife Annette in 1997 and they have three amazing children. They enjoy the great outdoors that Utah has to offer. They spend a lot of their free time camping, hiking and exploring the state. -
Jeanette Jueschke Salt Lake Manager, Funeral Director
Jeanette was born and raised in a small suburb of Los Angeles in Southern California and lived there for 26 years before moving to Salt Lake County, Utah in 2018. Her dad was a funeral director for 30 years at a mortuary in California. She has always believed that funeral service was in her blood and has loved following in her dad's footsteps for the last few years. She appreciates the opportunity to serve families in such a vulnerable capacity, especially during a very difficult time in their lives and has seen that funeral service is her life's calling.
Jeanette has a son of her own and works hard to be a good example of hard work, perseverance, and compassion to him. She has learned that being a single mom has allowed her to understand the world a little bit differently and has seen that learning empathy and consideration for others are necessary skills to help families through grief. When she isn't burning the midnight oil for her families or doing the normal mom things--Jeanette enjoys playing chess with her son and watching movies. Above all, however, she loves to sing. She grew up in a family of classical singers and was gifted with the ability to sing thanks to heredity. She loves to do musical theatre, play Dungeons and Dragons, and crochet in her spare time. Her vow to the families she serves is to help them feel comfortable, calm, and supported during the funeral planning process with the extra benefit of fitting within their budgets while still honoring their loved one.
