William "Kelly" Orr
Kelly, our much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. He was born in Riverton, Utah to William and Marva Orr on April 10, 1957, the third of four children. Throughout his life, Kelly enjoyed fly fishing the Provo River and at many other spots across Utah. He loved reading about history and the TV was always on the History Channel! Though a life-long Utahn, Kelly loved walking by the ocean on sandy beaches, especially in Kauai, Hawaii and San Diego, California.
Kelly married Cheri Peterson on January 8, 1990 and became a dad to her three sons Jason, Eric (Carrie), and Cory Peterson. In May 1991 his beloved daughter Kourtney Anne Orr (Zach) was born. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Fran Bock. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by four grandchildren, Hannah, Ashlyn, Cole, and Riley; his three sisters Melody (Larry) Turner, Jeri (Ron) Bell, and Kaye (John) Alexander; father-in-law Merl "Bud" Bock; brother-in-law Tom Bock; as well as many nieces and nephews.
At Kelly's request there will be no funeral or other services.
