Wendy Emmett Jackson
June 2, 1955 ~ August 20, 2020

Wendy Emmett Jackson passed away peacefully at her parent's home in Holladay on August 20, 2020. She was born on June 2, 1955 in Evanston, Illinois to her parents Robert and Margery Emmett. She is survived by her father Bob Emmett; her brother Rob Emmett; her children Daphne; Kenneth; and her stepdaughter Savannah; her 6 grandchildren and other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her mother Margery and her late husband.

Wendy had battled breast cancer for 6 years she had put up a good but very difficult fight. Even though she was battling cancer she was still working and trying her best to be strong.  She was very stubborn and didn't like to ask for help especially towards the end. She will be missed by her family and friends that got to know her. She is at Peace and in the Arms of the God and others who had passed away before her.

There will be a viewing for her on Tuesday September 8, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. MST at Affordable Funerals and Cremations located at 4387 South 500 West. You can also see it on Zoom by entering the Meeting ID: 8012878233.

We are not able to do a service for her at this time. However, on Sunday Sept 13 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church we will have a blessing and a prayer for her near the end of the service. St Stephens is located at 4615 South 3200 West in West Valley City, Utah. You can also view it on Facebook anytime by going to St. Stephens Episcopal Church.

We wanted to thank all of the medical facilities their teams, her doctors and their staff and everyone else that helped her while she fought this difficult battle. Also the funeral home for making this difficult time as easy as possible.
