Ty Voyle Munson returned to his Heavenly Father on April 29, 2023. He was born June 19, 1991, in South Lake Tahoe, California. His parents are Robert and Alana Munson.
Ty was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 28, 2004. He graduated from Desert High School at Edwards Air Force Base, California in 2010, where he lettered in soccer and cross country. He was a Flight and Squadron Commander in the Air Force Junior ROTC and earned his Eagle Scout award in Boy Scouts. Ty was also a 4-year graduate of the Church Seminary program. Ty worked as an assistant manager and manager at the Jiffy Lube and the Ford Service Center in Cedar City Utah. He also owned and operated his own business, Munson Landscaping, in Cedar City Utah.
He married Krystal Bishop on December 13, 2014, in Tehachapi, California. They had two children, Michael Voyle Munson, born in 2016, and Ryan James Munson, born in 2018.
Ty enjoyed helping and serving others. He loved his family, and they loved him. He was happiest being a dad to his children. He will be remembered for his quick wit and endless sense of humor. His enjoyed working on trucks, cars, and motorcycles. For fun he loved to go 4 wheeling, attend demolition derbies, and watch movies.
Ty is survived by his boys, Michael and Ryan, his parents, Robert and Alana, his three sisters: Savannah Munson, Brynn Munson and Tandi (Bryan) Lefler. Also surviving is his fiancée Jessica Simms, and her children Tayler, Owan, Kynzlie, Kamdyn Rose, and Britlyn Marie, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Voyle L. Munson in 2004 and his grandmother, Lillian Shurtz Munson in 2014.
