Tori Lee Heiselt, age 58, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on April 6, 1967, in American Fork, Utah, to Neldon LeRoy Maynard and Bonnie Lee Pertl (Richins).
Tori lived a life filled with warmth, humor, and boundless love. She found joy in every moment and had a special gift for making the people around her feel happy and cherished. Nothing brought her more fulfillment than spending time with her family. Though she loved her children deeply, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren even more. Tori especially loved music, and soft fuzzy jammies.
She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Lee Petrl (Richins); her father, Hardy Petrl; her brother, Darren Heiselt; her sons, Levi Taylor, Cody Heislet, and Wyatt Whittaker; her daughter, Shantell Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Tori is preceded in death by her grandmother Omalee; her grandfather Fred; her son Jesse; her nephew Adrian; Jay, the father of Wyatt; and her beloved furry companion, Opie.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, 84084. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Affordable Funerals and Cremations, 4387 South 500 West, Murray, Utah, 84123.
Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, 84084.
Tori will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love, laughter, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
