Thomas Edward LeBreton IV

July 19, 1956 — April 4, 2026

Thomas Edward LeBreton IV returned to his heavenly home on the morning of Saturday, April 4, 2026, following a courageous year-long battle with ALS. He leaves behind a life defined by service, dedication, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Thomas—affectionately known as “Tom”—married his beloved sweetheart, Susan Wilkinson, in October 1976. Together, they built a beautiful life in Murray, Utah, where they resided for 49 years. Their love story, spanning nearly five decades, was one admired by all who knew them. Rarely seen apart, Tom and Susan were known for walking hand in hand wherever they went, a quiet but powerful testament to their enduring bond.

Tom and Susan opened their hearts through adoption, welcoming two daughters from India. One daughter preceded Tom in death during infancy. His love as a father was profound and enduring.

Together, Tom and Susan shared countless adventures, exploring Utah’s small towns and national parks and enjoying their season tickets at Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Through Tom’s illness, Susan remained faithfully by his side, caring for him with tenderness, love, and even song—an enduring expression of their deep connection.

Tom was known for his exceptional work ethic and commitment. He dedicated over 45 years of service as a foreman with the local gas company. He earned the respect of colleagues not only for his skill but for his kindness and willingness to teach. A mentor and friend to many, Tom took pride in sharing his knowledge and helping others grow.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fixing sprinklers, grilling meals, riding his motorcycle, and playing cards with family and friends. Above all, Tom was devoted to “his girls.” He was a loving and supportive husband and father, known for his generosity, warmth, and deep loyalty to both family and the many friends who became like family.

Tom is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Susan W. LeBreton, and his daughter, Bri Rose LeBreton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edward LeBreton III and Dixie Tobler Redmond; his stepfather, George Redmond; and his daughter, Ashwani Kambli LeBreton.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m., followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at the LDS meetinghouse located at 6410 S. 725 E., Murray, Utah 84107.
