Tevita Mounga (Moni)

1979 ~ 2018

Tevita Leimoni Mounga (Moni) age 39 of Riverton, Utah, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Moni was born on April 4, 1979 to Hetueni and Kalotia Mounga and is the first of four sons. Moni graduated from Kearns High School in 1997 and received his Bachelors degree in computer science from the University of Utah. Moni was a member of the Kearns Trinity United Methodist Church.

Moni worked in the oil fields in North Dakota when he met the love of his life, Victoria Adame. The two became one in 2015. Moni adored his two sons Marley and Mason and his daughter Malia. Moni loved to take his family on adventures. Moni was a natural born teacher and protector and looked at any opportunity to teach his children and siblings. Moni's passion was music.

Moni is preceded in death by his brother Penoni Fehoko Mounga. Moni is survived by his love Victoria, children Marley, Mason and Malia, parents Hetueni and Kalotia, siblings Aisea (Emma), Kisaea and Moses, nephew Ramsey and niece Siale and many, many cousins.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. and Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church located at 3610 South 4400 West, West Valley City, Utah. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
