Steven Javier Berntsen

Steven Javier Berntsen “Bubby”, age 22, passed away unexpectedly March 29, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Steven was born on June 21, 2000 to Odalis Ramirez in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent his growing-up years in the Glendale area and graduated from East High School in 2018.
Steven was kind, had a loyal heart, and a loving son, brother, and friend. He loved music, concerts, and travel and had a deep appreciation of the arts. He was a gentle and loving soul, who will be missed greatly. He earned a prestigious Eagle Scout award, was an accomplished barber, and the coolest dude around.
Steven leaves behind his mother, Odalis Berntsen, and his sister Ruby Berntsen. He also leaves his brother-in-law Nicolas Jared Amaya Buelvas, and many loving family members, including his Abuela Miledis, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. There were many friends who shared a close bond with Steven, whom he loved dearly. He lives on.
He is preceded in death by his father.
