Sharon Virginia Stevens, born May 10, 1956 to Curtis and Dorothy Stevens, passed away after a sudden illness on December 9, 2016. Survived by daughter Stacy (BJ) Dastrup, grandchildren Jonathan and Cassidy, sister Barbara (Bill) Krigbaum, brothers Willis (Carol) Stevens, Curtis (Betty) Stevens, Dennis (Mary) Stevens, Patrick Newby, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brother David Newby.
Sharon was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was liked by all who new her. She could make anyone laugh and could always take your mind off anything that was bothering you. She loved fishing, camping and just being outdoors with her beloved chihuahuas. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to the wonderfully compassionate staff at University of Utah Cardiovascular ICU for taking such great care of Sharon during her final days.
