Our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Ryan Adam passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, following unexpected heart problems. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Belinda and Derrell Adam.

Ryan played football in high school and became skilled in plumbing, electrical, and mechanics. He married Gwen Gibson in the Salt Lake Temple on May 19, 2000. Ryan enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Gwen, their children Tyson, Seth, and Ethan, his grandson Bryson, his mother Belinda Laub, his sister Nichol and brothers Sean and Cameron, his grandma Afton Stapley, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Derrell, grandfathers Ray Stapley and Derrell Adams, and grandma Kay Adams.

Funeral services will be held on March 18, 2017 at the LDS Kearns East Stake Center, 4300 W 4715 S, in Kearns. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:50 am. The funeral will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at the Memorial Lake Hills cemetery located at 10055 S State Street in Sandy, Utah.

Ryan's family expresses special thanks to the caring and professional staff in the Trauma ICU at the Intermountain Medical Center and to the many friends and relatives who have given their love and prayers.

The Ryan Adam Donation Trust account has been established at Mountain America Credit Union for those wishing to assist Ryan's family with funeral and medical expenses.
