Rodney Lee Searle

1937~2019 Rodney Lee Searle passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, April 27th, 2019 in West Valley City. Born October 25th, 1937 to Lora and Allen Searle, in Bingham, Utah. He graduated from South High School, and later married his "sweetheart" Annette Byer. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose greatest passions were his family and serving as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in two branches of the Military: The United States Army until January 30th, 1955, and The United States Navy until January 30th, 1963.

Rodney is survived by his loving family, including their children: Patrick Searle, Michael (Kathy) Searle, Vicki (Zane) Shillington, and William Searle. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Annette, their son, Patrick Lynn Searle, and his parents. The family is very grateful to the people at Rocky Mountain Care Center in West Valley City, and a special thank you to Rocky Mountain Hospice for their loving care and support during his final days. We will miss him dearly but are blessed with the incredible love and memories he leaves behind.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 18th, at 11:00 a.m., at the Copperhill Stake Center, 4145 South 6710 West in West Valley City, Utah, preceded by a viewing from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah.
