In Loving Memory of Patricia Ellen Wilding Christensen, “My Pretty Lady”

Patricia Ellen Wilding Christensen, a fiercely loving wife, mother, and friend, passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 79, She was the heart of our family—a vibrant, free spirit who lived life unapologetically and fully.

Born in Rexberg Idaho on June 22, 1945 to Wallace Walter Wilding and Hannah Pearl Teeples Wilding. She loved her childhood, fishing, camping, living on a farm. She learned how to be a hard worker and that followed her through her life. She is proceeded in death by her father and mother, her brother Charles Wilding, Brother Darwin Wilding, and her sister Brenda Summers.

Patricia was never one to follow the rules if they didn’t make sense to her. She told you exactly what she thought—whether you were ready to hear it or not—and somehow, you always ended up grateful she did. Her honesty was as much a part of her as her laughter: bold, contagious, and always close by.

She shared 60 unforgettable years of marriage with the love of her life husband, Larry Lynn Christensen, a love story marked by deep devotion, laughter, resilience, and the kind of partnership that’s rare and beautiful. Together they built a life filled with family, friends, and stories that will be told for generations.

She had a gift for making people feel seen, a heart big enough to hold everyone’s secrets and struggles, and a spirit that could not be tamed. She believed in living big, loving hard, and telling you just what she thought weather you liked it or not.

She leaves behind a beautiful family, her loving husband Larry Lynne Christensen, children three boys Rick Christensen (spouse) Karin Christensen, Russ Christensen (spouse) Trudy Christensen, Rod Christensen, and one girl Lynnel Risk (spouse) Eric Risk, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren all of whom carry pieces of her spirit in the way they laugh, love, and live boldly.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on Friday June 20th at 11:00 A.M. at the Bountiful City Cemetery located at 2224 South 200 West Bountiful, Utah 84010. With a celebration of life to follow at a church/pavilion at 2200 South 200 West Bountiful, Utah 84010.
