Patricia Jackson

1947~2019 Our sweet Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Grandma Great Patricia Jackson (Patty) Age 71 Left us on 2-26-19. Patricia was born on 10-26-47, in Salt Lake City to William and Beverly Bleazard. She married Marvin Scott Jackson on August 27, 1969. Patty had many hobbies and accomplishments including: loving to go bowling where she knew she could bowl a perfect game, shopping especially for the Holidays and always having the most decorative house in the neighborhood, as well as watching a good soap opera or three. She loved to shop for all the decorations to put in the house and had a special talent of choosing the heaviest piece of furniture she could possibly find then having the men in her life try to figure out how to get it into the house with a bribe of food, particularly Greek, or candy as a result. Patty always knew where to find the BEST Girl Scout cookie stands and always had a hankering for Samoas making sure to buy them by the box to hand out to her family and friends but kept a secret stash for herself. Patty always had a good joke to throw out there even if it pushed boundaries here and there, she had a contagious laugh and smile that would help you giggle past those boundaries. Patty loved her family dearly, she would do anything for her sons William and Scotty making sure they were comfortable and had everything they needed to support themselves or their families. Patty adored her Grandchildren and would spoil them in every way she possibly could, from simple needs to extreme wants to even just a basic cuddle or word you knew you needed to hear, you could always find one of them by her side. Patty opened her arms to everyone and welcomed them as family and the ones she had a bad feeling about, she had no problem making it known. Her grace, wit, charm, honesty, and humility spoke for itself. She loved with a fierceness that will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Patty loved dolphins collecting all things relating to and Disneyland where she even took her family on a fun and memory filled vacation making sure her family's trip would be forever remembered and looked upon. Patty and Scott were sidekicks, best friends and confidants for the last 50 years. Very rarely would you find one without the other as they were always side by side. Patty and Scott's story was and will always be remembered as a love to strive for. They made it a point to go to their favorite Mexican restaurant every anniversary and had several sweet traditions they would keep for many years. She made many marks in our world and will be greatly missed, remembered and cherished as well as carried on wherever possible. She is survived by her Husband Marvin Scott, Son Scotty, Son William (Traci), 4 Grandchildren Alex (Kendall), Katelyn, Kimberli, and Ethan. One great grandchild Colt. Preceded in death by her mother and father.
