Michael Troy Brim, 52, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has gone on to be with his Heavenly Father and his wonderful grandparents: William Harold Brim and Betty Ann Baker Brim (paternal), Verne Jenkins Newman and Deloris Ilene Denney Weeks (maternal). He was born in Salt Lake on January 18, 1964 to Michael Shannon Brim and Connie Ilene Newman Brim.
Troy, as he was known, enjoyed family and friends. He was fond of rock and roll music, traveling and he had a desire to live his life in southern California, which he did for some time. He had a passion for talking with and collecting autographs from celebrities he met while living there. He had dreams of one day working in the film industry and had training as a film editor. He was employed at Full Moon Pictures. He was a 1982 graduate of Bay High School in Panama City, Florida. He remained a single man during his life. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints.
He is survived by his father and mother and two brothers, Thomas Gordon Brim and Christopher William Brim. He is also survived by two uncles, Steven William Brim and Mark Kevin Brim, an aunt, Holly Delgatti Rundman, a nephew and a niece, Kyle Christopher Brim and Ariel Morgan Brim, and a cousin, Patrick Delgatti.
A private memorial service was held in Panama City, Florida for family members and friends.
