McKay “Mac” Middlesworth

McKay Middlesworth passed away on January 21, 2026 of natural causes in Pocatello, Idaho.
McKay was born on July 9, 1948 to Ray Lyle and Carolyn Rollo Middlesworth in Cedar City, Utah.
After graduating with a degree in English, McKay spent his early career in education. He later worked for the state of Utah. After retiring from the state, he returned to education working as a substitute teacher for the Granite School District.
McKay married Kaleen Harris on September 9, 1982 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Jordan River Temple. They had one child, Ray Lyle. After Kaleen’s passing He married Pamela Lind On February 9, 2019.
After fully retiring from substitute teaching in 2019, McKay spent most of his time on his favorite hobbies: Spending time with family, Watching the Detroit Lions play on TV, And most of all reading any book he could get his hands on.
Preceded in death by his parents and his Eternal companion. He is survived by his son, Ray Lyle Middlesworth(David) step-children Sheri K. Gray (Robert) Sandi D. Harris (Ryan) Ronnie D. Lind (Christine)Bobby L. Lind (Andrea) 14 step-grandchildren, 17 step-great-grandchildren and one grand-dog “Mac”.
Services will be held On February 2, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Willow Glen Ward. 6364 S. 3200 W. Taylorsville, Utah 84084 at 10:30 AM with a viewing that morning from 9:00-10:00 A.M
