Mariah Guzman Castillo

Mariah Guzman Castillo, age 33 passed on February 22, 2024. She was born on December 7,1990 in Anaheim, California to Elizabeth Guzman and Michael William Castillo. She met her soulmate Tariq L. Barton at the age of 16 and were together until his passing in 2022.
Mariah loved to read and write in her journals. She played softball and was an excellent swimmer. She loved her music, her culture and was very spiritual. Mariah’s greatest accomplishment was having her son, Huntington.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth, father, Michael, big brother Meeko, little sister Cecilia and her son Huntington. Also surviving is her sisters in law, Star and Britt, niece Charlette, nephews David and Mykhailo and many other family and friends.
Mariah was preceded in death by her mama Lolita, papi Chuy, tia Angie, and her tia Booty. Also preceding her in death is her grandpa Les, grandma Patsy and her soulmate Tariq.
Funeral services will be held on March 8th at 1pm at Affordable Funerals and Cremations, 157 East Riverside Drive, Suite 3A, in St George, Utah. Light refreshments will be offered during the service with a luncheon to follow at the L.D.S. meeting house located at 2668 East Crimson Ridge Drive, St George, Utah 84790.
