Marcella Anne Gallegos

Marcella Anne Gallegos, age 52, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was a high school graduate and worked on and off as a cashier while trying to raise her children as a single parent. Marcy was full of life, always living life to the fullest and then some. She was usually happy, loving, funny, caring, and it was always fun to hang out with her. She loved her family and was always buying us cute things that warmed our hearts; she was very giving that way. I'm sure we've all had our fun shared adventures with her that will continue to bring smiles and laughter to us, and we will always remember those happy times. With all of this, she also had a very hard life. She lived on the edge and struggled with a drug addiction that was very hard for her to overcome. Now, we are all grateful and happy for the time we had with her here on earth. Her spirit is free now; she has no more struggles or worries to deal with. She can be with her loved ones in heaven and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Love you, Marcy! We will all miss you very much! 

Marcy is survived by her mother, Eleanor Martinez; sister Gina (Andy) Vigil; brother Roger Gallegos; son Alphonso Leon Hendricks Jr.; daughter Chelsea Martinez; and grandchildren Isaac, Alex, Eli, Arihanna, Joshua, and Galileo. 

Marcy was preceded in death by her dad Alfonso Gallegos Sr.; sister Jovalee Gallegos; brother Alfonso Gallegos Jr.; her daughter Kendra (Krystle) Follett;  niece Lisa Vigil; grandmother Ernestine Madrid; grandparents John and Esther Martinez; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. 

A Rosary and Viewing service will be held for Marcy from 10:30-11:30am on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Affordable Funerals & Cremations in Murray, Utah. After which there will be at Graveside Blessing and Service at the Herriman City Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
