Leanor “Lyn” Allred Dialogue

December 31, 1942 — January 5, 2026

Leanor "Lyn" Allred Dialogue, 83 of Sandy, Utah passed away January 5, 2026.

She was born in Price Utah on December 31, 1942. She was the third child of Mildred and Robert Clay Allred. She was proud of the fact that she was their first child to be born in a hospital. Lyn grew up in Salt Lake City and loved to tell stories about growing up on Goshen Street and the amazing tree house that her father built in their backyard. She was a graduate of West High School.

Lyn was an incredible wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved to write letters and send cards and if you were in her address book you were very lucky. She rarely missed a holiday, birthday, or anniversary, with every envelope decorated especially for its recipient.

Lyn was an amazing Grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visits to Grandma's house often included 'knox blox', no bake cookies and heated games of Aggravation or Uno. She was the best at keeping traditions and her grandkids will miss decorating for the holidays and coloring Easter Eggs with her this year.

Lyn is survived by her husband of almost 63 years John Edwin "Ed" Dialogue. They were married on February 21, 1963. She is also survived by her children Denise Chapman (Matt), Daniel Dialogue (Amy), David Dialogue (Jeannie) , and Corine Keyonnie (Dennis).

If you knew Lyn, she was your friend. She made people happy wherever she went and was always a joy to be around. She was the best at making people feel special and appreciated. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
