Kathy was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, step-mother and friend. She was the best mother-in-law anyone could ask for, and a caring, thoughtful neighbor who deeply valued family and friendship.
Kathy is survived by the love of her life and devoted husband of 29 years, John Wilkinson; her two beloved sons Rodney Glenn (Cherise) Wach, and Rock Will Wach; and her two cherished step-daughters Catherine (Brent) Mangum and Dona Crowne. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Alexis (Erick), Alissa, Nichole, Natasha, Savannah. Makenzee, Perry, Terra, Andrew (Lauren),, Maddox, Julian, and Caitlin (Jake). As well as her grear-grandchildren; Max, Finn, Virginia, Luna, Rowan, James, Gracie, and Rosemary. Each one was a source of light in her life, and she cherished the time she spent with them. She is also survived by her six loving siblings; Dennis, Verna, Brenda, Ann, Norm, and Steve as well as many nephews and nieces who adored her.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father Vern Rosvall, mother Norma Rosvall, step-daughter Eileen Wilkinson, great-granddaughter Lily Baker, and nephew Justin Velasquez.
Family was always at the heart of Kathy's life. She treasured time together, whether it was trips to Hogle Zoo, the Leonardo Museum, planetarium, or Thanksgiving Point, family movie nights, or ice cream after school. She loved hearing the laughter and chatter of her children and grandchildren and treasured one-on-one time with each family member. She loved to be present and involved with all of them, individually. Kathy also created special holiday traditions and memorable adventures, from Grand Canyon mule rides to visiting Old Faithful. These experiences not only created cherished memories but also inspired in them her same love for adventure and discovery.
Kathy's favorite color was purple, and she brought joy to every celebration with her love of sewing, crafts, cooking, music and dance. She also loved sharing her love of geneology. In her youth she raised and trained horses, which always held a special place in her heart. We picture her now, riding freely through Heaven's meadows, her spirit untamed and as beautiful as the horses that brought her so much joy!
Kathy's Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Western Hills 1st Ward 5380 West 5400 South, Kearns, Utah 84118
Many of us will be wearing purple in her honor.
