Judith Rae Binkerd Jones

Judith Rae Binkerd Jones passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of May 23rd, 2025. Judie was born in SLC to Robert Binkerd and Becky Bruner on September 15th 1948, and later adopted by her grandparents Robert and Laura Binkerd. Judie attended West High School until she met and married Terry A Jones. (Later divorced).

Some of the best times of her life was working as a bartender at Demete's and grabbing a garlic burger at the Cotton Bottom. She was an excellent cook and cake decorator. She enjoyed sharing her talent with family and friends. She loved road trips and always found her way to the creepiest cemeteries.

She had many ups and downs in life but in the end she could definitely say “I did it my way”. There is no doubt the reunion with her loved ones that passed before was happy, but none as great as the full bodied wiggles and slobbery kisses she received from all her pets, but especially her beloved Boston Terriers Buster and Hades.

Judie is survived by her kids Kristi (Eric) Callister, Tracy (the favorite) Jones and Jessica (Aaron) Rasmussen. She had eight grandchildren that she loved so much and 7 great grandchildren. She also had many siblings and nieces and nephews that she adored and was always happy to see.

The family would like to thank her hospice team that cared for her so well but especially Rachel Fitzgerald who is a true angel. She provided loving care and companionship to our mom. We are eternally grateful for all you did.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 4-6 pm at the West Jordan Senior Housing Center located at 2105 W. Sugar Factory Road, West Jordan Utah. A light meal with some of her favorites will be served. A burial service will be held at a later date.
