Jody Lynn Allen Sweet, who was her families' "ROCK", returned to her loving Heavenly Father and many family members on February 28, 2016 in Kearns, Utah. Oh what a reunion they are having.
Jody was born on November 1, 1972 to Jim and Raliene Bird Allen. One of Jody's neighbors growing up was the Sweet family. This friendship eventually lead to her marriage to Shane Sweet on March 19, 2010, but they have been sweethearts for 16 years. They were sealed for time and all eternity on March 19, 2015 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they brought two great children into their family, son Gauge and daughter Kayla.
Jody loves taking care of her family and her mother. You could always find her sharing recipes on Face Book, going to unusual restaurants and collecting antiques.
Jody loved to watch T.V. with some of her favorite shows being Criminal Minds, Cooking shows and Super Natural along with many others.
Jody is survived by her husband Shane Sweet, son Gauge Sweet, daughter Kayla Sweet and her mother Raliene Allen. Proceeded in death by her father Jim Allen, brother J.D. Allen, aunts Mary Lou Walther and Pam Kom and her grandparents DeRay and Nedra Bird.
She was a beautiful Daughter of her Heavenly Father and a loving wife, mother and Daughter here on earth. She will be missed very much, more than anyone will know.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 4, 2016 at the Kearns 16th Ward, 4300 West 4715 South Kearns, Utah with a viewing Friday from 1:00pm to 1:45pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm.
Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery 3401 South Highland Drive (1300 East).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family will be greatly appreciated.
