James Dennis Furiosi

December 9, 1946 — October 10, 2022

James Dennis Furiosi, of Page, Arizona, passed away on October 10, 2022, after a brief illness.
His best friend, Rena Dixon, was at his side. Jim was the son of Phil and Ann (Nancy) Furiosi,
who predeceased him. He grew up in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, and attended Penn State
Worthington and SUNY Binghamton, where he studied Electrical Engineering. He was
employed by Link, where he worked for many years as an Engineer before retiring. He was also
a proud Navy Veteran, and served during Vietnam.
Along with many friends and family, Jim is survived by his daughter, Cara (Nicholas) Clarke; his
son, James Furiosi; his brothers, Mike (Sandy) Furiosi and Rick Furiosi; his grandchildren,
Dylan Clarke, MaryAlice Clarke, Harrison Clarke, Madeleine Clarke, Catie Furiosi and Charlotte
Furiosi; his best friend and companion, Rena Dixon, and his many “adopted” nieces, nephews,
grandchildren, and pets. He was predeceased by his precious wife, Linda Furiosi.
Jim loved to laugh and go on adventures. He loved cats and all animals and volunteered for
many rescues in Utah, Kauai and Arizona. He has saved many cats over the years and
delighted in posting cat memes on his social media accounts. He was an avid photographer and
hiker. He also embraced the cultures in the places that he lived, including New Mexico, Arizona
and Kauai. Most importantly, Jim was a kind soul and willing to help anyone with anything. His
sweet laugh and smile will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, make a donation to your favorite animal shelter. A celebration of life will be
held later.
