Frank Hoffman served in the US Navy during WWII as commander of an LCT troop and supply ship. Hoffman Organization, and published the "Trainer's Forum" magazine. A lover of Dixieland jazz, he resumed playing clarinet in the "Don't Quit Your Day Job" Dixieland jazz ensemble, and wrote a song on the subject that was performed in contest by the Beehive Statesmen Chorus under the direction of his son Scott.
Baptized into the LDS faith late in life along with two of his grandchildren, Frank was a faithful member of the Telford Ward. He and Dorothy were sealed for time and all eternity in the Jordan River Temple in 1999.
