Elease R. Thompson, 75 years old, died on March 15th, 2022. She born on August 27th, 1946 to Don & Ramona Miller in Salt Lake City.
Elease loved to sew and quilt, a family tradition. She loved to serve her community and help others. Elease magnified her church callings. She loved the people that she served, including those she wrote letters to and those with special needs.
Elease retired from the Humanitarian Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elease was a 25-year pancreatic cancer survivor, and she loved spending her time supporting others experiencing cancer.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Johnson and her husband Nathan, her son Michael Thompson and his wife Blanca, and her grandchildren Camille and Israel Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on March 22nd, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1955 W 400 N, Salt Lake City, UT. The viewing will be held from 12pm to 1pm, and the funeral services will be held from 1pm to 2pm. Internment is to follow services at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
