1989 ~ 2015
Edward Tyler Wilson, aged 26, died suddenly of a heart attack on November 8th, 2015. Tyler was born on April 7, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Annetta Preston and Edward Charles Wilson. He married Nicole Martine Ehlert on July 20, 2012. Tyler and Nicole were blessed with three beautiful boys, Tyler Michael (T.J.), Trey Charles, and Trenton Lionel Wilson. Tyler was an amazing and talented musician, composing, singing, rapping and producing. His music was so inspiring to others, many wanted to be a part of his talent in any way they could. He produced several commercials which aired on the local radio stations. Tyler was a very compassionate person, who had many friends who often turned to him in times of hardship, looking for help and advice. Tyler had so much love for his family and friends. He was always willing to provide a safe place to stay or a good meal to eat. His door was always open. In addition to his endless love for others, he had such a forgiving heart and was full of compassion. He never complained about his own struggles, but he knew how to appreciate the life he had. Tyler and Nicole had such a strong love, and they believed they were meant for each other. The love that they shared for each other was an example of how love should be. Their love was kind, patient, understanding in all things, and always willing to compromise for one another. Tyler's favorite thing to do was to enjoy a night off work with his wife and two boys making forts and playing video games or watching movies and cuddling on the couch. Tyler has touched so many people in his short amount of time on this earth, but his family and friends will live in honor of him. By achieving goals we set out to accomplish and having compassion within our hearts for others, we will learn to be the great example that Tyler was for all of us.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Trae. He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole, his sons T.J. and Trenton, his parents, Charles (Ramona) Wilson, Annetta (Clarence) Preston, his sister Crystal Wilson and countless other family members and friends. Tyler will be greatly missed! A gathering will be held in the relief society room of the L.D.S.
