Dolohn Henrie Barnett passed away May 5, 2017 in Murray Utah. He was born October 13, 1955 in Blackfoot, Idaho to John and Dolores (Henrie) Barnett. His family moved to Kearns, Utah when he was a young child. He attended David Gourley Elementary, Kearns Junior High and Kearns High School.
He married Shellie Halkyard in 1976 and they had two children together, Shellon and Daniel. They were later separated. He also had a son, Kolton, with his long-time girlfriend, Sandra Leavitt, later separated.
Dolohn was a natural athlete and played many sports, baseball being his favorite. He played in several adult softball leagues and later went on to coach his sons in little league. He also enjoyed bowling, in which he bowled an 800 series and was awarded a ring. He loved watching sports, camping, fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids. They all brought much joy to his life. He was extremely funny and his humor and infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his older sister, Pam Barnett Davis. He is survived by his daughter Shellon (Brandon) Smith, sons Daniel Barnett and Kolton Barnett, 5 grandkids Payton, Chloe, Darla Johnathan and Ahleyza. He is also survived by his brothers Bruce (Sandra) Barnett, Dug (Debbie) Barnett and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kearns 8th Ward located at 4232 West 5015 South, Kearns, Utah. A viewing will be held that same day from 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at the same location.
