Cindy Pollei Minson

Cindy Pollei Minson, having finished her earthly mission, returned to the arms of our loving Heavenly Father on April 18, 2017. Cindy was born August 28, 1959 to Jon R. and Carol Ipsen Pollei in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Brighton High School in 1977. She served faithfully in many callings in the LDS church such as primary president, stake relief society, compassionate service, and was serving as ward relief society president at the time of her passing. She was a faithful member who loved the Lord and the scriptures and spent countless hours reading them.

She married the love of her life and soulmate, Scott Eugene Minson, for all eternity on February 22, 1980. They had one daughter, Jen and many, many pets. The three of them share a passion for reading and a love for all animals, especially dogs. Family was everything to Cindy and she was rarely seen without Scott by her side. They were truly best friends. Their love story and marriage are an inspiration to all who know them.

Cindy was kind, compassionate, wise, loyal, faithful, loving and just about the best person you could meet. She always had a smile for everyone and many special relationships, especially with her granddaughter Jordyn who was the light of her life. They played games, wrote stories, read books, took walks, and were just the best of friends. She loved flowers and her garden. She loved her dogs and to watch her chickens in the yard. Cindy touched many lives, more than she knew. She will be greatly missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents and her mother-in-law Dorothy Minson. She is survived by her husband Scott, daughter Jen (Brian), granddaughter Jordyn, parents Jon and Carol, brothers Greg and Bruce (Jamie), father-in-law Kenneth Minson, many brothers and sister's in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan Oaks Stake Center, 8117 S. Leslie Dr. West Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may call Monday April 24, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church or on Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 before the service. Interment will be at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 S. 1300 W. West Jordan Utah.
