Casey Michael Schuurman

Casey Michael Schuurman returned home to our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on December 17, 2024. He will be missed by all who love him.

 Casey was born November 7, 1985, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed our family as the baby of six children. He was larger than life, had a wonderful sense of humor and a great personality. Casey was a loving, kind gentle giant and made friends everywhere he went. He was appreciative and grateful for the simple things in life. If he saw anyone in need, he would jump in and help. 

 Casey will be sorely missed by his parents, Ron and Janet Schuurman and his siblings, Melissa (Curtis) Post, Emilee (Keith) Lovato, Nicole (Josh) Rawls and Jesse (Jen) Schuurman and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 Preceded in death by brother Brett Schuurman and grandparents Roy and Violet Samuels and Guy and Jeannette Schuurman.

Viewing and funeral will take place at the LDS church located at 552 E 11400 S Draper, UT 84020 on January 11, 2024. Viewing from 9am-10:30am, then the funeral directly following from 10:45am-11:45am. 

 Casey will be cremated and laid to rest at a later date.
