Honoring the life and spirit of
Brent Eugene Combs
*October 5, 1957 - April 29, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we must share the passing of our father, Brent Combs on April 29, 2025. Brent was a devoted father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend who left a lasting impression with everyone that had the honor to befriend him with his integrity, hard work, and down to earth sense of humor.
>*"A true craftsman with his hands
Brent leaves behind his four beloved daughters: Adrianne (Brandon), Rebecca, Cassie (Adam), and Jessica (Bryan), who were the light of his life, as well as his beloved dog Lulu. He was a proud grandfather who cherished every moment with his grandsons, Brandon, Asher, Conrad, Jack, and Max and his granddaughters, Jazmin, Gracie, Isabella, Ava, and Chloe showing his playful and tender side whenever they were around.
Brent was blessed with a large and loving family. His brother lived with him and they were next door to his best friends Kenny, Nick and Amanda. He is survived by his sisters Shauna (Kim) and Susie (Tommy), Shauna's children Austin (Cali), Tiffany (Chad), and Britney; Susie's daughters Autumn and Ashley, & his twin sister Brenda and her daughter Gina; and his brothers Steve and Chris. He had a special connection to Amanda and Nick's two daughters.
Born to Donald Eugene Combs and Carol Christensen, Brent was also raised with love by his aunt Dorothea Christensen. His Idaho roots ran deep, shaping the hardworking and genuine man he became.
Throughout his life, Brent worked as a skilled machinist, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship and dedication. His hands could create and fix almost anything, a talent he passed on to many who learned from him. His workshop was his sanctuary, a place where problems were solved and dreams were built piece by piece.
**In His Own Words:**
"Thank you, thank you, thank you" - a phrase that embodied his genuine gratitude for life's simple pleasures.
"Just need to be comfortable and get things done" - his humble philosophy that guided his purposeful life.
"That's Old Rusty for ya" - affectionately referring to the rat rod project that brought him so much joy.
Brent found his greatest joy in his passions. With his brother, he spent countless hours lovingly building a rat rod they affectionately called "Old Rusty." He was also in the process of restoring a 1957 Chevy, approaching each project with patience and precision. These weren't just cars to Brent; they were labors of love that reflected his character—solid, reliable, and built to last.
When not in his workshop, Brent could be found enjoying the simple pleasures of life: watching the ocean waves crash against rocky shores, sharing stories with friends, or spending quality time with his daughters and grandchildren. His laugh was contagious, his advice was golden, and his presence was comforting.
Brent will be remembered for his fun loving personality, unwavering work ethic, and the special connections he formed with everyone around him. His country boy spirit, heart of gold, and leave a legacy that will continue to inspire us all. He taught us that true strength lies not in grand gestures but in showing up every day, putting family first, and finding joy in creating things with your own two hands.
