Beatrice V. Gustin

1923 ~ 2018 Beatrice Vaughn Gustin passed away November 5, 2018 in Ivins, Utah and was laid to rest November 10, 2018 in the Clearfield Utah City Cemetery. 'Bea' was born June 12, 1923 to Bonnie William Vaughn and Hattie Kramer in West Columbia, Texas. Bea was one of nine children and outlived all but one. Bea met Clifford Hugh Gustin at a church dance during WWII, fell in love and were married June 24, 1944. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford and her son, Lyle Jean Gustin. Bea is survived by four of her children, Mervin L. (Betty) Gustin of Duchesne, UT; Sherry McCarthy of Ivins, UT; Deborah (Lloyd) Allen of Preston, ID; and Clifford V. (Leann) Gustin of Ivins, UT.
Bea was known for her humor, hard work ethic, love of gardening, and caring nature. Bea and her husband were avid rock hounds. She raised her family in Clearfield, UT. and later moved to West Haven, UT. After her husband's passing, Bea relocated to Vernal, UT. Bea was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all of her life and served in many positions.
