David Andrew Naylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David was tragically taken from us in a motorcycle accident on May 14th, 2022. David was born October 9, 1967 in Ogden, Utah to Richard and Linda Naylor. He came into this world weighing a little over a pound and assumed neonatal, thankfully a nurse found a pulse and they worked to save his life making him the strongest wolf that loved and protected his pack! He was the youngest of five children. He graduated in 1985 from Clearfield High school. His favorite sport was football - he played little league up to high school football. Dave had the biggest heart of anyone you could ever know. Always willing to lend a hand or help anyone, he was always a phone call away no matter what. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his family when he was home. He had a huge passion for collecting beer bottles, fishing, hunting, woodwork, his Harley and most of all blaring his music. We always knew when Dave was coming around the corner. You would always find him in his element while listening to Dave Mathews Band, Tool, Queensryche, A/C D/C, Queen, or out in the garage tinkering with tools and crafting something out of wood. One thing he looked forward to was to meet at Maverik with his brothers for their morning cup of Joe. He loved to share his extreme interest for cooking. Not only did he make the best breakfast on Christmas morning, and in general, he made the best out of every meal he served. He was a very selfless man, he made sure everyone else had before he did. Holidays and BBQ's were a big deal for him, he loved any day that all the family could be there under one roof. He instilled his knowledge and skills of hunting and fishing with his grandkids since they were big enough to hold a rod or a rifle. The lives of his loved ones will never be the same as he will be deeply missed. He imprinted an amazing part of him on everyone he knew & loved. David married his sweet love Roxane Palmer on October 8th, 1993; also taking on the role of step-dad to Amanda and NayDene Ringel. Which he was the best at. In 1998 they moved to Apple Valley UT to start a new beautiful life in their dream home. David worked at Autoliv then many years for Hill Air Force Base and then Zion National Park. He had a niche for maintenance work. David is preceded in death by his parents Richard "Dick" Naylor and Linda Laub Newton, his brother Edward Naylor, his brother-in-law William "Billy" Crosby, Uncle Harold Walsh, Cousin Jared Walsh and best friend Bradley Sherwood. David is survived by his wife Roxane Naylor, daughters Amanda Ringel Jessop (Russell) and NayDene Ringel Black (Heath) grandchildren Tristan (Jazmyn), Annie (Coleman) and Leevi Black, Chloe and Russie Jessop, and Taylor and Kaylee Ruesch. Best friends and Brothers Gregory Naylor and Eric Naylor (Tammy), Sisters Cynthia Crosby and Wendy Houston (David), Aunt Karen Walsh and many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life for David at his home in southern Utah on June 25th from 2 pm to 6 pm and another in Northern Utah where he grew up. The date for the Northern Utah Celebration has not yet been set. Will be posted in the Celebration of life event. His wonderful brothers Greg and Eric will be hosting that one.
